Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking compassionate and clinically skilled Nurse Practitioners for a primary care practice in Greensboro, North Carolina. This physician-owned practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare to adults in the community. The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented professional eager to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions within the NP scope of practice.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other studies.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with North Carolina regulations and practice protocols.
- Provide preventive healthcare services, including annual wellness visits, screenings, immunizations, and health education.
- Manage chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, COPD, asthma, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, and obesity.
- Perform transitional care management and post-hospital follow-up visits as appropriate.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and ancillary healthcare services.
- Participate in value-based care initiatives and population health programs.
- Complete accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in eClinicalWorks, electronic health record (EHR).
- Ensure coding and documentation support appropriate billing and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, NC Medical Board, and practice policies.
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Promote patient engagement and shared decision-making.
- Respond to patient messages, lab results, and clinical inquiries in a timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
- Participate in provider meetings, care management initiatives, and quality improvement projects.
- Support practice goals related to patient satisfaction, quality metrics, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of North Carolina.
- National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C/FNP-BC) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP).
- Current DEA registration and North Carolina prescribing authority.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records.
- Minimum of 2 years of primary care experience preferred.
- Experience managing Medicare and Medicare Advantage populations is a plus.
- Experience with value-based care programs, chronic care management, or advanced primary care models is a plus.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EHR is a plus.
Required Work Hours
Monday through Friday, with no hospital rounds, call, or weekend responsibilities.

Expected Patient Volume: Approximately 16-22 patients per day, depending on experience and schedule.
